Looking back now at the planning process for Chloe & Jarron, I can say it was quite exhilarating but at the time was a mix of apprehension & excitement! 

Government regulations for lockdown areas, travel restrictions and Covid Safe event plans/conditions were changing by the week, the day and the hour.

Chloe & Jarron never planned an alternative date as they were so determined to say ‘I do’ the moment restrictions eased. And eased they did, just weeks before their wedding!

They were certainly the wedding that gave us all a little bit of hope that more of our couples would be able to say ‘I do’ in 2020.

This day didn’t happen without them having to restructure their entire wedding, find some new suppliers at short notice and have a lot of faith that all was meant to be!

A 100 plus guest list dropped down to under 60 and a beach resort wedding became the most beautiful set up in Jarron’s Grandpas back yard, high on the hills of Bayview with sweeping views of Cairns City.

False flooring was put down to cover a pool and create the reception space and a clear span marquee went up surrounded with fairy lights.

The clouds cleared, the rain ceased & the heavens put on the most incredible sunset for their family and friends.

It was a huge honour to be a part of this special day both as their florist and to also supply our Garden Cocktail bars, Bridal Table Skirting and Décor which was set up via our sister business, Stella By Design.
