Georgia found me via her sister, Bridget from Paronella Park. Another amazing human I have made friends with thanks to the wedding industry up here in FNQ. It truly is a community I’m proud to be a part of.
I never actually had the chance to meet Georgia face to face but I’m sure our paths will cross one day. We had minimal contact as just one bouquet and one buttonhole was required.
Georgia requested sunflowers & a touch of blue which is quite a rare request for weddings.
Georgia chose the sunflowers as a reminder of her mum as she was unable to attend the wedding. It was her way of feeling like mum was with her and carrying her close.
I love this. I love the emotion behind flowers and why people love them or choose certain varieties through out their life time. They invoke feelings and memories that stay with you forever.
The blue was to represent the tradition of her ‘something blue’
I love the opportunity to create a bouquet outside the norm, away from the high trending designs and colours. Almost feels rebellious, like we are breaking all the rules!
Enjoy some images of Georgia and Henry’s special day, they married at Paronella Park in August this year.
